Korean Corner’s Participation in Multi-Department Environmental Event at ZCE, Kowloon Bay

In mid-March 2018, eight government departments in Hong Kong came together to host a special event at ZCE in Kowloon Bay, aimed at raising awareness about environmental protection, specifically focusing on our oceans and marine life.

As a GREEN partner, Korean Corner Green Project (now UNGP for SDGs) was proud to support the event by providing a 3-meter high eco-friendly paper castle slide, along with a variety of other cardboard items, allowing the public to experience and enjoy sustainable, recyclable products.

The event also featured a range of engaging activities, including paper gadgets, special performances, booth games, wood upcycling workshops, and exhibitions—all designed to promote environmental responsibility. Our paper castle slide, a highlight of the event, has been reused multiple times in subsequent events, underscoring our commitment to sustainability and reducing waste.

This event reflects our early dedication to promoting environmental awareness—values that continue to drive our mission today as UNGP for SDGs, as we work to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
