UNGP for SDGs is pleased to announce the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Global Leadership & ESG Programme (UNGLEP), a programme developed by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), establishing a collaborative framework to advance youth empowerment, ESG leadership, sustainable development, and international knowledge exchange.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering practical, cross-sector collaboration in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this cooperation, both parties will work together to promote SDG-focused leadership development, global youth engagement, professional capacity building, internship and career development pathways, as well as international dialogue and cooperation across diverse sectors and regions.
The collaboration also aims to strengthen connections between local initiatives and global sustainable development priorities by creating meaningful opportunities for emerging leaders and changemakers to contribute to inclusive and sustainable progress.
In addition, the MoU establishes a joint coordination mechanism to facilitate strategic cooperation and collaborative initiatives across Asia, the Middle East, and North America, further reinforcing a shared vision for responsible leadership, international partnership, and sustainable global development.
UNGP for SDGs and UNGLEP look forward to building a productive and impactful partnership that supports the next generation of leaders in addressing interconnected global challenges through innovation, professionalism, and international collaboration.
