July 2018: Glorious Light Neighbourhood Center: Summer Paper Workshop x Dancing Experience

On 16 July 2018, Korean Corner GREEN Project (now UNION for SDGs) welcomed 20 children and youths from grassroots families in East Kowloon, led by the Glorious Neighbourhood Centre, for a special experience in our “paper world.” The event aimed to introduce the importance of environmental protection in a fun and engaging way, while allowing the participants to explore a range of high-quality, creative Korean products.

To further enhance the day, Korean Corner partnered with the owner of Glamor Ballet School, who generously offered the children a surprise half-hour dance lesson. The entire two-hour workshop was filled with laughter, excitement, and joy, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.

This event reflects our early dedication to environmental education and community engagement, a commitment that remains at the heart of our work today as UNION for SDGs, as we continue to promote the Sustainable Development Goals.
