On July 16, 2018, Korean Corner Green Project (now UNGP for SDGs) welcomed 20 children and youths from grassroots families in East Kowloon, led by the Glorious Neighbourhood Centre, for a special experience in our “paper world.” The event aimed to introduce the importance of environmental protection in a fun and engaging way, while allowing the participants to explore a range of high-quality, creative Korean products.
To further enhance the day, Korean Corner partnered with the owner of Glamor Ballet School, who generously offered the children a surprise half-hour dance lesson. The entire two-hour workshop was filled with laughter, excitement, and joy, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
This event reflects our early dedication to environmental education and community engagement, a commitment that remains at the heart of our work today as UNGP for SDGs, as we continue to promote the Sustainable Development Goals.
