Councillor Isa Lee

Councillor Isa Lee is an elected official for the City of Markham, Ontario, Canada, community builder, mother, and former news anchor with over a decade of media experience. She previously served as Executive Director of the Toronto Cross-Cultural Community Services Association and remains a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion. Isa also contributes to community life as President of the Ontario York Region Heritage Lions Club, Deputy President of the Canada Hong Kong Alliance, Executive Committee member of the Chi Heng Foundation, and organizer of Taste of Asia.

 

Elected in 2018 and now in her second term, she serves as Chair of the Community Services of General Committee and Vice Chair of the Budget Committee. Isa is active on several city committees, including Accessibility, Race Relations, Cycling & Pedestrian, Milliken Mills, Unionville, and Thornhill Sub-Committees, Destination Markham, the Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival Committee, and Mayor’s Youth Council. She is dedicated to building a more inclusive, connected Markham.
